Let Thy Food Chedd’r Bac’n biscuits are flaky, tender, lovely, smoky, savory perfection. We love them as slider buns, and they are great for breakfast sandwiches or as a savory snack to enjoy on a drive through the mountains.
Let Thy Food Chedd’r Bac’n Biscuits
2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
4 oz coconut oil
1 10-ounce jar Let Thy Food Chedd’r Bac’n Dip
1/4 cup Let Thy Food Smoky Chedd’r Superfood Parm
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
Mix flour, salt, garlic, and baking soda. With a pastry blender or fork, mix the coconut oil into the flour mixture until thoroughly incorporated. The mixture will be crumbly with bits remaining (no larger than pea-size).
With fork, gently mix in Let Thy Food Chedd’r Bac’n Dip. If needed, add 1/4 to 1/3 cup water to the mixture, enough to hold the mixture together lightly. Do not overmix, as gentle stirring will keep the biscuits tender, flaky, and light.
Transfer the dough to a cutting board and gently pat into a disk approximately 3/4″ thick. Cut into rounds with a biscuit cutter, or, if you are feeling particularly artistic, a knife. Place onto baking sheet. Sprinkle tops of biscuits with Smoky Chedd’r Superfood Parm.
Bake for 22 to 24 minutes, until deliciously golden brown. Others will begin to gather around. This is normal. Serve warm. Watch the biscuits disappear.
